Group Fitness

Wellness Programs offers a variety of group classes that are free to the campus community and members, including ALL yoga classes. Every class welcomes participants of all backgrounds and experience levels. There’s no need to look a certain way or achieve a certain level of strength, endurance or flexibility; you can come as you are! Ready to join us? Look at our schedule below.

Class Descriptions

Spin

This is not a traditional spin class! This class will start your morning off with some high energy and a top-notch experience! Indoor cycling helps you shred fat, improve heart health, and increase muscle strength and endurance. You can burn between 300-600 calories in a 45-minute class! Indoor cycling is a great workout, whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete. This class will include varying speeds and resistance and interval training while motivating you with the perfect playlist to help push you through your workout. Come find the inspiration you have been looking for! *Limited to 20 patrons.

Yoga

Combines the best of Yoga flow (Vinyasa) and Core Workout, to strengthen the core while lengthening and invigorating the entire body. These classes are mixed level- the instructor offers options for both brand-new beginners and seasoned students in the same class, in an ongoing flow of movement. You can make the class just the right level of challenge and ease that you need each day. You will soon notice changes in what you can do and how you feel!

Water Fitness

An upright pool workout that focuses on aerobic intensity and muscle toning. Swimming itself is not included in the workout. Join us for a low – to no – impact workout!

H2O Core

This is not your traditional water aerobics class! This high intensity shallow water fitness class will end with an optional abdominal workout. The instructor will get your heart rate climbing for the ultimate water workout! Equipment will be available and optional. Non-swimmers are welcome.

Total Strength

This class provides a full-body workout incorporating single and compound exercises to target major muscle groups. This class will strengthen, tone, and condition the entire body to help develop a strong foundation and serve as a supplement to any training program. Each class provides a variety of exercises, perfect for a wide-range of fitness levels!

Dance Fusion

Styled as a Zumba-like class, fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Interval Training

This class alternates high intensity bursts of cardio with body sculpting exercises. The ultimate body-shaping, fat-burning, and strength training class!

Power Core

This core-focused class will tone, tighten, and strengthen the abdominals and lower back. Develop and increase core strength using a variety of training techniques to keep you and your core engaged. This class is the perfect addition to any workout regimen! Appropriate for all ages and fitness levels!

EMOM

EMOM is a 45-minute class beginning with a 10- to 15-minute warm-up. A form of interval training, participants will be challenged to complete a number of repetitions of a particular exercise within 60 seconds. Participants then get to use remaining seconds to rest before moving on to the next set or exercise. This format continues for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on routine structure. The high-intensity portion will follow with 10 minutes of cool down and stretching. EMOM is a high intensity workout that helps with fat burning, muscle toning and cardiovascular endurance. Equipment is based on the workout. From dumbbells, to jump ropes, to bodyweight exercises this class is sure to keep you coming back for more!

Soul Fit Dance

If you are looking for a dance fitness experience with easy to follow, fresh choreography and welcoming vibes give Soul Fit Dance a try! This invigorating hybrid dance class will strengthen your muscles and uplift your mood! Each song has a specific purpose such as targeting your core, sculpting your glutes, increasing your cardiovascular endurance, etc. This class is easy to follow, offering an empowering experience for your body and an escape from everyday stressors!

Max Spin

This isn’t your normal spin class! This is a high intensity 30-minute class! Max Spin is mostly interval training. If you’re looking for that extra something that you’re missing in your cardio training, be sure to try this class! *Limited to 20 patrons.
